HELP MYANMAR PEOPLE!

With houses destroyed by fire and no daily work,
villagers in Myanmar are leading challenging lives. Health care and education are severely affected.

Humanitarian aid is urgently needed!

On 5 July 2022, the Sanghas from the eastern
part of Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, met to discuss ways to help local villagers who have been faithful lay supporters of the Sanghas.
Based on Sangha in every village, we agreed to start a support program called the “Social Welfare Program of Myanmar Sanghas.”

respect for and trust in Sanghas.
    * Monks usually teach Dhamma to local people
    and contribute to social development.
    * People in many places are calling their local

  • TEMPORARY SHELTERS FOR THE ELDERLIES

Fire does not spare seniors’ houses. As of July2022, more than 120 families with senior citizens were affected in a township in the Sagaing Region alone. To date, 70 shelters have been completed, helping seniors to better protect themselves against the harsh weather in Sagaing in the cold season.
